Qualifications  in joining the Sisters of Mary:

Candidates should be between the ages 17 and 30; have at least high school education; be in good health and above all have a sincere desire to serve the poor  with the heart, mind and spirit of Christ.

After approximately four years of formation, the sisters profess the religious vows of poverty, chastity, obedience, and service to the poor and a promise to pray an average of three hours a day, in honor of the five wounds of Jesus.  These vows are being renewed each year at the end of the annual retreat.
